Kinship Roasters Mockup

In one of my first marketing classes in college, I had to take on Kinship Roasters as a client. We focused more on traditional marketing rather than digital marketing, but I did create one social media post for them. After more experience and knowledge in the field, there is a lot I would change about this mockup, for example, the font is not great as it is thin and difficult to see over the image, but this is what I created for class.

For class, we created a tagline for our client. Since Kinship Roasters focuses on making an impact both locally and globally, by using their roasts, customers are a part of a larger purpose, hence the tagline, Coffee on purpose.

Kinship Roasters has a focus on global impact, ethical sourcing, global missions, and local missions.

These photos would be used in one carousel on Instagram and would easily be turned into a video format for TikTok, Instagram reels, and YouTube shorts.

A caption for this post would include how they are making a global impact, how their beans are ethically sourced and from where, what global missions they partner with and the work they do, and what local missions they partner with and what they do.

Hashtags (3-5 since that’s what Instagram allows) would include keywords like #coffee #coffeeroasts #coffeeroaster #globalimpact #ethicallysourced

If I were to do more for their Instagram, I would also create posts that dive into the notes of the coffee roasts, share different types of coffees made with the roasts, highlight mission partners, explain the roasting process, and more.

This Instagram post is definitely not my greatest work, but I love seeing how I’ve improved.
